Parks Finest BBQ has been serving up some of the finest Filipino BBQ in LA since 2009 when they started as a catering company. In 2012, they opened up a brick and mortar restaurant in DTLA and have been smoking meat and making delicious food ever since. Inspired by their Filipino roots and their Los Angeles upbringing, Parks Finest BBQ offers complex fusion flavor combinations that you can’t find anywhere else.
The inside of the restaurant has a great vibe! It’s cool and friendly with not too much fuss, which is exactly what their food tastes like. I’d recommend looking for street parking on Temple.
I went with my family, so I was able to try a lot of food! We ordered family style and shared all of the entries and sides. We got San Pablo Pulled Pork, Mt. Mayon Hot Link Medley, Mt. Taal Chicken, Ann’s Cornbread Bibingka, Ligaya Veggie Medley, Elote, and Timuay Tri-Tip (not pictured). It was probably a little too much food for only 4 people, but everything was so delicious! My favorite was the cornbread, elote, and hot link medley. The flavors were rich and the food was all well-cooked.
Next time I go, I want to try Noel’s Smoked Gouda Mac and Mama Leah’s Coconut Beef!
