Lemonade was first opened in 2008 in West Hollywood with the mission to bring Los Angeles delicious, seasonal foods including fresh salads, hearty meats, and, of course, refreshing lemonade. Since then, Lemonade has opened 26 other locations throughout California
Lemonade is set up in a cafeteria style, where you grab a tray and drag it across the counter as you sample and choose different dishes to create your perfect meal. The counter is broken up into 4 sections: salads, sandwiches, hot dishes, and desserts. Typically, I choose 2-3 dishes, depending on how hungry I am.
So far, I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve had from Lemonade, but my current favorites are the Curried Cauliflower, Classic Ahi Poke (not pictured), and Roasted Brussel Sprouts. I also really like the Snap Pea Edamame, Roasted Broccoli, New Mexican Chili Roasted Butternut Squash, Mac and Cheese (traditional and white truffle), Creamy Mashed Potatoes, Red Miso Beef, and Thai Chicken Meatballs.
And of course, you have to get a lemonade! My favorite is the Blood Orange Lemonade, but they’re all very yummy and refreshing. I’m obsessed with Lemonade, I go at least once a month and I enjoy it every time. I love that Lemonade serves healthy, fresh, seasonal foods that are still so delicious!
