If you’re looking for a great pastrami sandwich, look no further than Langer’s Deli! After 70 years of being in business, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that Langer’s has truly perfected its pastrami. I ordered the classic hot pastrami sandwich with pastrami, coleslaw, and Swiss Cheese. It came on two large slices of rye bread with a nice, big dill pickle on the side.

Pastrami sandwiches are hands down my favorite type of sandwich, and Langer’s definitely makes the best pastrami sandwich I’ve ever eaten. The pastrami is cut in nice thick slabs, it’s easy to bite into, it’s not overly fatty, and it’s very flavorful. If you’re a fan of pastrami at all you definitely need to eat this sandwich!

The whole vibe of the restaurant was really great. I went during lunch time and it was bustling! The waitress who served me was very friendly and quick and helped me decide which pastrami sandwich to order. Generally speaking, the restaurant just felt like an old-fashioned neighborhood deli and I definitely want to spend way more time there (both for the vibe and the food). Next time I’m going to order the hot pastrami sandwich with sauerkraut!

Langer’s isn’t located in the nicest area of Los Angeles. I think the food is completely worth the trip, but it’s just something to be aware of. Langer’s has a private, monitored parking lot a block away from the restaurant on the corner of 7^th Street and Westlake Ave. Make sure to get your ticket validated and you don’t have to pay for parking!
