Bumsan Organic Milk Bar is a new soft serve shop in Koreatown that just opened in July. The ice cream shop gets its name from the same place it gets its dairy; Bumsan Farm Co. Bumsan Farm Co. is a 100% organic, USDA certified, non-GMO, antibiotic free, sustainable farm and the leading organic dairy producer in Korea.

Bumsan Organic Milk Bar has made a name for itself with its pointy cake cones that are decorated with a variety of sprinkles. This is a travesty, because while their cones are cute, their soft serve is the real star of the show. The cones taste like regular cake cones, but the soft serve is smooth and rich and the flavors are really yummy! They had two soft serve machines with four flavors and two swirls. When I was there it was match with milk and chocolate with dragon fruit lychee. I chose to go with chocolate and dragon fruit lychee swirl, which was a very fun flavor combination. The richness of the chocolate with the brightness and tartness of the dragon fruit lychee went really well together.

Bumsan Organic also has a private parking lot which makes parking very easy and free, which is not something you can usually say about Koreatown.
