The Americana at Brand is a relatively new shopping, dining, and residential center in Glendale. The property is owned and operated by Rick J. Caruso who is also affiliated with the the Grove at Farmers Market and the Calabasas Commons. Like his other properties, the Americana is an idyllic, outdoor shopping mall that is fun to just walk around in.
The Americana has a good mix of high street and luxury fashion brands including Nordstrom, Madewell, Lulu Lemon, Kate Spade, and Tiffany & Co. Personally, I like to spend most of my time at Barnes and Nobles or at one of the many restaurant. The Americana has multiple classic Los Angeles restaurants that I love including Tsujita (https://www.lavitabloger.com/tsujita-la/), Lemonade (https://www.lavitabloger.com/lemonade/), Din Thai Fung (https://www.lavitabloger.com/din-tai-fung/), Pie Hole (https://www.lavitabloger.com/the-pie-hole/), and more!
If you’re willing to spend upwards of $2,900 a month for a one bedroom apartment, you can also live above all the shops and restaurants at the Americana at Brand.
Overall, my favorite thing about the Glendale Americana is how lovely it is to walk around and enjoy the architecture and the beautiful LA weather! There aren’t many places in the world where an outdoor shopping mall can be enjoyable 365 days of the year.
